The Peacebuilding of the student community trough “A mediators network of the Faculty of Law from the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico”

The following article is the result of in-depth research into peacebuilding methods in the context of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico. As a founding member of the “Mediators Network of the Faculty of Law”, and as a mediator who carried out processes, the objective is to investigate how conflicts were resolved, according to the definitions, theories, current laws related protocol in each intervention.
In addition to this, trough an ethnomethodological and qualitative approach, this study seeks to understand the phenomena empirically. However, the main focus is to determine whether this research contributes in the long term towards building a functional structure in alternative means of conflicto resolution, in accordance with the academic and community context.
